Telling Great Stories Around the World

One story can transform someone’s world. Robert Vesleño understands that impact. That’s why he’s made it his business to tell clear, engaging stories.

For more than a decade, Robert worked for World Vision Canada and World Vision International in various communications and marketing roles. There, he used his journalism training and travelled to countries around the world showing how the organization’s work was making a difference as well as bringing light to the challenges that people still faced. He also learned how to effectively weave great stories into marketing and fundraising campaigns.

Robert’s stories have helped raise more than $2 million globally, helping charities to get more support and aid to people who need it the most.

As the Founder and Chief Storyteller of Rakonto Global Inc., Robert harnessed his strengths to help create positive change around the world and empower others to use their skills to do the same.

Robert is an award-winning journalist who works with a collaborative spirit and a drive for excellence. He’s also a fun guy to work with, mindfully infusing a sense of humour into what can sometimes be difficult topics to work on. (We know this because he wrote this in the third person to make it sound even more true).
